The mango is an excellent source of Vitamin A and flavonoids such as beta carotene, alpha carotene, and beta cryptoxanthin. 100 g of that fresh fruit provides 25% of recommended daily levels of vitamin A. Together, these compounds are well known to have antioxidant properties and are crucial for vision.
- 3/4 cup cold milk
- 1/4 cup vanilla yogurt
- 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups chopped fresh mango
- 3 Ice cubes
Just blend all the ingredients, the milk, yogurt, vanilla extract, mango, and ice cubes in a blender until smooth and creamy 🙂
